THANKSGIVING GATHERING AND TRAIL RIDE GRASSLANDS BED & BARN LBJ GRASSLANDS / DECATUR, TEXAS NOVEMBER 11 - 12 - 13, 2011 Special "Thanks" goes to Pam Roberts,
owner of the Grasslands Bed & Barn on the Decatur side of the LBJ Grasslands. Below is the rundown of the accommodations for this weekend. The house on the property
is fully equipped and will sleep comfortably 10 people. (4
queen beds & 2 twin beds). We can accommodate 12 people if needed. Continental breakfast is provided and the fridge will be stocked with bread, fruit, coffee, teas, cereal,
milk, cream, yogurt, juice and eggs. The cost of the house
which we have reserved is $800.00 for the 3 days plus tax. I
am looking for members who would like to join me in the house for the weekend. Please contact me ASAP if you would like to stay in the house for the
weekend. Our Thanksgiving dinner will be served
at the house. We will meet at 6:00PM for a social hour and
dinner will be served at 7:00PM. Please bring your own adult
beverage. The use of the kitchen will be open for everyone. NTRR
will be providing the main entree and we ask that each family joining
us for dinner, please bring a side dish to share with all. Outside facility includes
3 electric trailer hook-ups for $20.00 a night. Accommodations for the horses include several covered stalls and uncovered pens in a variety of sizes. We can easily accommodate 16 - 20 horses with pens. The stalls are $10.00 per night per horse and the outside pens are $5.00 per night per horse. All
contained areas need to be cleaned before you leave. Wheel
barrows and rakes are provided. Areas are designated for manure deposits. There will be a $10.00
ranch use fee for those joining us on Saturday only, which
includes dinner on Saturday night. Parking
arrangements for trailers: Staying all 3 days: Parking will be in the aft part of the property where all the horse stalls and pens
are located. Those who will be joining us on Saturday only,
we asked that you please park in the open lot to your left as you enter the property. Ride Schedule: Saturday Full Day Ride / Ride out time is 10:30AM Part of Red Trail and Complete Yellow Trail (Please bring your own lunch to eat out on the trail) Sunday Morning Ride / Ride out time is 10:30AM Complete
Red Trail All fees for this ride will be taken at the main
house. Checks are also accepted and can be made out to Grasslands
Bed & Barn. We ask that you please RSVP if
you plan on joining us for this club gathering. We want to
give Pam Roberts an approximate head count and we also want
